FileRenamer – small utility to rename multiple files at once

Intro
If you download, save, store and upload lots of music, movies, photos, ebooks, etc. then the collection becomes bigger, you might need to re-name the files as a way to manage them. This small utility came to help re-name – according to the rules applied – all files in a folder at one time, and save you lots of time.

Use
I think the design is intuitive and clear for using, no need long description.
You can change name hundreds or thousands of files at one time [after operation, you might press F5 to Fresh the folder to see the effect]. The function is divided into 4 categories:

  • Replace: a text (string) in file name by another one
  • Change: to UPPER, lower, or Title Case
  • Add: Prefix or/and Suffix
  • Remove: a text (string) in file

Note
The options are there [whether or not file-extension is included, ignore-case or match exactly), and the users are expected to plan and double-check ahead before applying any changes. This can avoid a mess – although there will be always a way to change back with the four operations above.
Absolutely no malicious functions (virus, trojan, spamware, etc.) at all with this program.
In some cases, press F5 (or right-click then Fresh) to view the change
The program still has its limits and bugs, please email me to fix.
